Jobs Fair Connects Students and Community with Local Employers

91ÊÓÆµÍø Perth welcomed students and members of the local community to its campus on Wednesday 21 May for a successful Jobs Fair, held at the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing (ASW).

Running from 9am to 2pm, the free event brought together a wide range of local employers and support agencies, offering attendees the chance to explore career opportunities, discover current vacancies, and gain valuable insights into the local job market.

Sarah-Jane Urquhart, NTP and Employability Manager at 91ÊÓÆµÍø Perth, said:

"We welcomed almost 200 visitors to the event—it was a fantastic day. We encourage all employers interested in engaging with us to get in touch. We’re looking forward to building on today’s success for next year’s event!"

Caley from 1st Safety Solutions said:

"As Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Advisors, we were keen to attend this event as an opportunity to connect with students who might benefit from shadowing one of our team members. This experience would offer them valuable insight into the health and safety considerations they may encounter as they prepare to enter the world of work."

Attendees engaged directly with employers from various sectors, received advice on employability, and explored career pathways suited to their interests and skills. The event highlighted 91ÊÓÆµÍø Perth’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and the wider community in building meaningful and sustainable careers.
